Occupational First Aid Course

Course Objectives

By the end of the course, the participants will have the relevant knowledge and application skills in demonstrating first aid/CPR skills to apply them in their workplace.

  • Principles and practice of first aid

  • First-aid requirements in factories and other workplaces

  • Wounds, bleeding and shock

  • Fractures and soft tissues injuries

  • Handling and transportation of the injured

  • CPR & use of AED

  • Breathing difficulties

  • The unconscious patient

  • Occupational eye injuries

  • Burn injuries

  • Industrial toxicology

  • Safety and accident prevention

  • Management of medical emergencies

23.5 hours including 3 hours of assessment

ESS Level 5 and above

Participants of this course are advised to have at least ES WPLN Level 5 & above or equivalent as otherwise, the participants may find the course challenging to understand and pass the required assessments.

There will be practical and written assessment


Upon passing the assessments of the OFA component, a certificate of achievement endorsed by NTUC LearningHub® and accredited by Ministry of Manpower (MOM)  will be issued with a 3 years validity.
Upon passing the assessments of the CPR+AED component, an NRC endorsed certificate which is valid for 2 years will be issued.

SDF/ SME/ WTS Funding (For Corporate Registrations):

  • Participants must attend at least 75% of the course and complete the exam
  • Customers who are applying for the funding for trainee(s), please make enrollment in Skills Connect website before registration
  • WTS funding only applies to company-sponsored trainee who is 35 year old and above with a monthly income of $1,900 and below.
